Jennifer L. Rockett, PhD
Director of Clinical & Forensic Services
Dr. Rockett is a clinical psychologist who specializes in Process-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She provides treatment for individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, and depression-related mental health concerns.
Dr. Rockett is also an expert in the field of Forensic Psychology and regularly provides consultation to legal professionals and conducts psychological evaluations of competency to stand trial, sanity, violence risk, and mitigation for state and federal courts and attorneys.
Camille A. De Leonardis, PsyD
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Malcherczyk started her psychology training in the United Kingdom, graduating from the University of Surrey Roehampton with a BSc in Psychology and Leicester University with an MSc in Applied Forensic Psychology. She then left the United Kingdom to attend the California School of Forensic Studies at Alliant International University and graduated from their Clinical Forensic Psychology Psy.D. program. She has completed her Level 1 training in the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy.
Dr. Malcherczyk has clinical and forensic experience across several settings, including inpatient psychiatric civil and forensic hospitals, outpatient clinics with a focus on the LGBTQ Community, the California prison population, and adolescent crisis intervention. She has a broad range of experience working with individuals and groups suffering from acute and chronic mental illnesses. She also has experience in facilitating competency restoration, community skills, and symptom management groups.
Dr. Malcherczyk's approach to therapy is a collaborative approach to goal setting with the client and continual evaluation of the therapeutic processes. She takes a client-centered approach to therapy; however, she is proficient in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In her work with couples, she uses the Gottman Method.
Jennifer M. Harmon, PhD
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Harmon obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from Sam Houston State University, a program that provides generalist, evidence-based training in clinical psychology in addition to specialized forensic training. She completed her internship at Tulane University School of Medicine and her postdoctoral fellowship with the CCFP.
Dr. Harmon is also an expert in Forensic Psychology. She has assessed defendants for competence to stand trial and sanity in jails and inpatient forensic hospitals. She has also conducted violence risk assessments in both inpatient and outpatient settings, assisted with attorney-contracted mitigation cases, and provided competency restoration services to psychiatric inpatients. Dr. Harmon regularly testifies in court on these matters.
Hannah Benemann, MA
2024 - 2025 Forensic Practicum Student
Ms. Benemann is completing a year-long practicum placement in our clinic. She is in her 3rd year as a clinical-forensic doctoral graduate student at Sam Houston State University.
